Title: GIS Sales Representative: California
Bruce Harris & Associates, Inc. seeks experienced, highly motivated, professional individuals to provide GIS related sales to prospective clients throughout California . Responsibilities will include lead generation, qualifying, developing and closing of sales and secure orders for GIS related services as directed by the Director of Sales. Understanding local government markets is an important key to success in this position.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience
-Ability to generate new business, project sales forecasts and meet sales revenue targets
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
-Ability to work independently and multi-task
-Assist in the development of proposals and contracts
-Ability and experience in presenting to groups of people
-Assist in the coordination of marketing opportunity such as conferences and conventions
-Develop regional sales plans
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology a plus
-Proficiency with Esri’s ArcGIS software technology a plus
Travel will be required to potential clients. Applicants must be able to provide own transportation. Applicant will be reimbursed for travel related expenses monthly.
